The Faith Stewards: Reboot

We are entering a new era… not!

Hello, Fit Stewards!

It has been a while, we know! So many things have been happening, and we just can’t keep up at times. Just look at the scarce entries we have on our page. However, this ministry is something that God has not told us to let go of just yet. It does not really matter if we have lots of readers or not. We are called to do it, and we pray that we will be more faithful in doing so.

Having said that, we feel the need to follow a slightly different direction. Slightly, because we will continue to write about faith and life, but fitness will not be our main focus. It remains one of the important aspects, as we need to be physically fit to truly minister to others, but we will strive to go broader this time. We will traverse all areas through the lens of faith—family, church, relationships, or even politics if led to do so. As such, you might see some changes in how we do things, although not very dramatic.

In connection with this tiny shift, we will also be renaming our blog and our social media pages to: THE FAITH STEWARDS!

We told you, it is not a significant change! Just a little tweak to be more inclusive of so many other faith-related things.

So, what does it mean to be a “faith steward?” For us, it means taking care of the faith God has given us. It is the intentionality to help it grow in our lives, and in the lives of the people we are blessed to interact with, whether physically or online. Our faith is not from us. It is given by God by His grace. As stewards, we are entrusted to manage it in a way that will glorify the One who gave it to us. Faith should not be stagnant—it must grow and impact others. We do this by guarding our relationship with the Lord, practicing our spiritual disciplines, using our gifts, and being completely surrendered to the leading of God. We do our part, and God will cause the growth because He is the only one who can accomplish that.

We hope that you will continue to journey with us as we heed this new direction from God. We also ask for your prayers that we will be more diligent in updating our materials. We hope that this change will bring better interaction among us and that we will all help each other grow as we journey together in this Christian life.

So, let’s get (re)started, Faith Stewards!
